IPB Appoints a New Head of Sales and Relationship Manager
IPB is delighted to announce the appointment of Conn Cleary as Head of Sales and Relationship Management.
Conn joins the company from Ecclesiastical Insurance Group where he held the role of Sales & Marketing Manager Ireland for over four years. He has over 20 years’ experience working in the insurance sector holding roles in underwriting and sales with Allianz and FBD Insurance.

IPB Insurance Chief Executive Ronan Foley is appointed to the Board of Directors
IPB Chairman, George Jones, has today (Thursday December 22nd 2011) announced that the company's Chief Executive Ronan Foley has been appointed to the board of directors with immediate effect. Ronan joined IPB as chief executive in August of this year and is the first executive director of IPB in its 85 year history.
IPB Appoints New CCO
IPB is delighted to announce the appointment of Julia Carmichael as Chief Compliance Officer (CCO).
Julia has spent 15 years working in the financial, credit and insurances industry.
Her previous roles include CCO for Aviva Group Ireland, Postbank Ireland a start-up enterprise, Head of Enterprise Risk and Information Security for Ulster Bank RBS Group, Finance Administrator and Treasury Manager for Baxter Pharmaceutical and as a Senior Manager for Credit and Risk Management for MBNA Europe. Julia has worked in several jurisdictions and international institutions across Europe in terms of regulatory environments.
IPB Appoints New CFO
IPB is delighted to announce the appointment of Enda Devine as Chief Financial Officer.
Enda joins the company from Scotiabank (Ireland) Limited, where he held the position of Head of Finance. He has over 10 years finance experience in senior executive and board level roles in a number of leading global financial services corporations and has a proven track record in business start-ups, international best practice in corporate governance, risk management, finance, treasury and banking regulation.
Enda has also worked as CFO for Postbank and Head of Finance at EBS Building Society.
IPB Appoints New CEO
IPB is delighted to announce the appointment of Ronan Foley as Chief Executive.
Mr. Foley will be responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the company in this new and exciting phase of development for IPB.
Ronan joins the company from Ecclesiastical Insurance Group where he held the role of Managing Director in Ireland for over four years.During this time Ronan led the company to significant profitable growth. Prior to this, he held a number of senior management positions within Chubb Insurances of Europe including his roles as Vice President and Regional Manager for England South East.
