IPB’s Professional Indemnity Insurance policy provides financial protection and peace of mind for the insured organisation against any claim for which they may become liable, arising out of their professional duty, negligent act, error or omission, committed or alleged to have been committed while carrying out the organisations business activities.

 

• Limits of indemnity from €250,000 and upwards are available on request.

• Cover is provided to all Employees in respect of any claim brought against them alleging a breach of their professional duty.

            Cover includes such contingencies (but is not limited to):

           - Defamation (libel or slander) committed in good faith
           - Negligent act, error or omission or breach of a duty of care
           - Negligent misstatement or negligent misrepresentation 
           - Unintentional breach or infringement of intellectual property rights and/or copyright, patents        
           - Unintentional breach of confidentiality or misuse of information
           - Loss of documents (Costs incurred to restore or reinstate lost or damaged documents under the
              Insured’s control)
